1. hindsight - the ability to understand a situation only after it has happened With the benefit of hindsight , it’s easy to criticize. 2. sophomores - a student who is in their second year of study at a college or high school This class is mainly for freshmen and sophomores . 3. quick fix - a solution to a problem that can be done quickly, but is not a good or permanent solution Congress is trying to avoid quick-fix solutions. 4. buffer - something or someone that helps reduce or protect from harm His sense of humour was a useful buffer when times were bad 5. bicker - to argue They bicker over whose fault it was. 6. stale - no longer new or fresh,not interesting or exciting anymore After ten years in the job, she felt stale and needed a change. 7. grudges - a feeling of dislike for someone because you cannot forget that they harmed you in the past You let nasty little personal grudges creep in. link: What makes a good life
